Lady Gaga i Ariana Grande encapçalen les nominacions de l'edició dels Video Music Awards d'enguany amb nou nominacions cadascuna, set de les quals pel seu duet amb Ariana Grande Rain On Me.  The Weeknd i Billie Eilish opten a sis categories, mentre que Taylor Swift n'opta a cinc.
